Repairs are usually completed within 2-4 days after arriving in our office and in the mail the next business day.
Yes. Some brands include: Hufriedy, Miltex, Star, Nordent, Kavo, W&H, Lares, NSK, Midwest, Impact Air, J Morita, Kinetics, and many other imports and private label brands.
Poor maintenance can contribute to mechanical failure. Autoclaving and lubricating procedures tend not to be followed thoroughly.
It is considered 2 separate repairs. Some customers believe it’s necessary to send Handpiece Solutions both handpieces, because they are unsure where the problem lies. Handpiece Solutions will repair one and clean and lubricate the other if no problem exists.

Most high-speed air driven handpieces can be repaired for under $200 depending on the repair.
If not properly maintained it can fail prematurely, costing you more in the long run. In general, newer handpieces have a life expectancy of 18-24 months, while older models closer to 12 months, but proper dental handpiece maintenance can prolong the life of the handpiece and maximize performance.
The most common reason for handpiece failure is poor lubrication or improper use of the autoclave. It is imperative that the handpiece goes through the compete drying process during autoclaving. Remaining moisture in the bearings will cause premature failure.
